In light of the current global crisis, the event hopes to explore intergenerational innovations and its potentials as a solution.
About this Event
The biggest problems in the world are complex and cross generations. However, economic restructuring and improved technological innovation have led to the frequent segregation of generations. As such, naturally occurring opportunities for interaction between the generations are not as prevalent in contemporary society as once was the case.
Policy-makers are increasingly looking to intergenerational programming as a way of bridging the generational divide and building more cohesive communities and as a mechanism for strengthening generational proximity, improving understanding and communication, and fostering a commitment to reciprocity and solidarity.
This webinar aims to highlight various intergenerational innovations that help raise the concept of ‘social sustainability’ and how it can fill gaps in facing challenging crises.
